Welcome to the Leuven Childhood Epilepsy Center
On this website, you’ll find information about what we do, the research we’re currently working on, and general information about epilepsy in children.
The Leuven Childhood Epilepsy Center brings together the expertise on childhood epilepsy from UZ Leuven and KU Leuven. We aim to provide well-coordinated, specialized care for children with epilepsy and their families. At the same time, we bring together researchers from different fields to improve our understanding of childhood epilepsy and to develop new treatment options.
We also want to raise awareness about epilepsy and help train future healthcare professionals who will care for children with this condition.
Our work is made possible thanks to support from the KU Leuven Fund for Childhood Epilepsy.
