PhD Students Awarded FWO Fellowship

PhD candidates Sophie Janssens and Adrian Romero from the Laboratory for Molecular Bio-Discovery have received a highly coveted fellowship from the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO). Out of no fewer than 2,076 applicants, 492 young researchers were selected to receive four years of financial support to carry out their research projects.

Launch of the Leuven Childhood Epilepsy Center

On February 14, 2025, the Leuven Childhood Epilepsy Center was officially inaugurated with a scientific meeting and a festive reception. More than 100 guests attended the international presentations on various aspects of childhood epilepsy.
