Leuven Expertise at the European Epilepsy Congress

From 5 to 9 September 2026, several members of the Leuven Childhood Epilepsy Center will participate in the 16th European Epilepsy Congress (EEC) in Athens. This international congress brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts from around the world to share the latest scientific insights and developments in epilepsy.

We are particularly proud that our physicians, psychologists, researchers, and other team members will not only attend the congress but also actively contribute to its scientific programme. Through lectures, poster presentations, and discussions, they will share their expertise and research findings on a wide range of topics, including childhood epilepsy, neuropsychology, innovative technologies, and emerging treatment approaches.

Through these contributions, we help advance epilepsy care and translate scientific knowledge into better care for children and young people with epilepsy.
